Wonderful Raises $550 Million as Valuation More Than Doubles to $5 Billion
Israeli-Dutch AI startup Wonderful has raised $550 million in a Series C round led by Insight Partners, valuing the company at $5 billion, more than double the $2 billion valuation it reached less than six months earlier. Existing investors Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners all returned for the round, and Salesforce joined as a new investor for the first time.
From Customer Service Agent to a Full AI Operating System
Founded in early 2025, Wonderful built its initial traction around a customer service AI agent platform, customized and sold across a range of non-English-speaking markets from the outset. That early focus has since broadened into what the company now calls its Wonderful AI OS, a platform designed to coordinate AI agents, automated workflows, and applications across a company's existing data and systems rather than handling a single narrow task. Starting with non-English-speaking markets rather than the more heavily contested English-language customer service AI category gave Wonderful room to build a real customer base before facing its largest competitors head-on, a sequencing choice that appears to be paying off now that the company is expanding into a broader platform category.
Rapid Expansion Backs Up the Valuation Jump
Since its previous round in March 2026, Wonderful has expanded into more than 35 markets worldwide and grown to roughly 650 employees, about half of them based in Israel. That pace of market expansion, achieved within a single funding cycle, is a large part of what justifies a valuation more than doubling in under six months, and Salesforce's decision to invest for the first time in this round suggests strategic enterprise interest beyond pure financial return. A CRM giant the size of Salesforce backing an AI orchestration platform, rather than building the equivalent capability entirely in-house, is a meaningful signal about how even the largest enterprise software incumbents are choosing to treat parts of the agentic AI stack as worth partnering for instead of competing against directly.
What This Means for Founders
