Indulge Global Raises $1 Million to Expand Luxury Concierge Services Abroad
Indulge Global, a Goa-based luxury lifestyle concierge platform for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A round from existing and new investors. The company plans to use the funding to expand into Malaysia, South Africa, Dubai and the United States, and to further build out its AI capabilities across member operations.
Founded in 2022 by Karan Bhangay and Advita Bihani, Indulge provides on-demand concierge services, from luxury travel and private aviation to exclusive events and hard-to-access products, to a paid membership base that has grown from three founding clients to more than 180 today. The company's app is free to download, but its concierge services are limited to paid members, a roster that includes founders, family offices, celebrities and professional athletes across the more than 180 countries where Indulge says it can fulfil requests. Bhangay, a college dropout who first entered the luxury space running a lifestyle magazine business and organizing exhibitions across cities including Coimbatore, Chennai and Pune, built much of Indulge's early client access through those relationships before formally launching the concierge platform.
Indulge uses AI across its internal member operations to reduce errors and speed up request handling, while human concierge managers continue to handle the direct client interactions and personal requests that define the service's white-glove positioning. That hybrid model, AI-assisted operations behind a fully human-facing service layer, reflects a broader pattern among luxury and high-touch consumer businesses this year: automating the operational backend aggressively while preserving human relationship management at the point of customer contact, rather than attempting to automate the client-facing experience itself.
The planned international expansion into Malaysia, South Africa, Dubai and the US signals an ambition to serve globally mobile ultra-wealthy clients across multiple regions rather than remain India-focused, a natural extension given that concierge services for this customer segment are inherently location-independent. Dubai and the US in particular represent markets with dense concentrations of the kind of clientele Indulge already serves domestically.
For founders building premium or membership-based consumer businesses in India, Indulge's growth from three to over 180 high-value members in roughly three years, without needing to compete on price or scale to mass-market volumes, is a reminder that narrow, high-margin verticals serving India's wealthy can support real fundraising and international expansion on their own terms.
