Rezolv Raises $12.5M Series A to Scale AI Across the Full Lending Stack

Rezolv, a Mumbai-based AI-native platform for banks and non-banking financial companies, has raised $12.5 million in Series A funding led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India and existing investor 3one4 Capital. The round values the company at $51.2 million.

The Founding Team

Founded in 2024 by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, both former founders of Kissht, one of India's largest consumer lending platforms, Rezolv sells software to lenders that manages the full arc of a borrower relationship: from initial outreach and risk assessment to underwriting, collections and legal recovery. The company has already partnered with more than 22 lenders including AU Small Finance Bank and ICICI Bank, and powers 6.5 million minutes of borrower conversations every month. The founders' track record at Kissht, where they scaled a consumer lending platform through multiple credit cycles, positions them credibly for the enterprise software mandate Rezolv has taken on.

Use of Capital and Investor Rationale

The fresh capital will be used to deepen AI capabilities across each workflow layer rather than any single point in the process. Norwest's involvement is significant: the firm has backed a string of B2B fintech platforms and brings operational experience in scaling software businesses in both India and Southeast Asia. The Vertex Ventures participation extends Rezolv's reach toward an eventual Southeast Asia expansion, consistent with the platform's architecture targeting banks and NBFCs across the region.

What This Means for Founders

Rezolv's Series A is a signal that enterprise AI for regulated financial services is maturing as a category: a two-year-old company with 22 lender partnerships and 6.5 million minutes of monthly AI conversations is investable at Series A with tier-one lead investors.
