Most AI agents help people. HappyRobot builds AI agents that run entire operations.
The company has raised a $150 million Series C at a $1.2 billion valuation, joining the unicorn club less than a year after its Series B. The round was led by Prysm Capital and co-led by Eurazeo, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Base10 Partners, Y Combinator, and Koch Disruptive Technologies.
HappyRobot was founded by brothers Pablo Palafox (CEO) and Javi Palafox (COO), alongside CTO Luis Paarup. The company builds AI agents that execute complex enterprise workflows end-to-end across phone calls, email, documents, web applications, and internal systems — without human intervention at each step. Its current customer base includes DHL, Kuehne + Nagel, Naturgy, Repsol, and Uber, with over 150 enterprise customers across freight, logistics, and energy.
The company has expanded from two offices to eight locations across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia in the past year. CEO Pablo Palafox described the raise as the beginning, not the ceiling: "We are just getting started."
The distinction the company draws is important. HappyRobot is not building a chatbot or a copilot. It is building what it describes as enterprise superintelligence: systems that take an instruction and complete a full operational workflow, including the edge cases, the exceptions, and the handoffs between systems that typically require human judgment.
What this means for founders
Enterprise AI agents that run operations rather than assist them are hitting unicorn valuations at speed. The category is validating faster than most predicted. For founders building vertical AI agents in logistics, supply chain, energy, or any sector with high-volume repetitive operations, this round signals that the market is there and institutional capital is moving. The question is not whether enterprise agents work — it is which verticals will consolidate fastest.
