September 25: $33.93 Billion Filed Across 83 Vehicles, Almost Half From One Real Estate Manager
Funds and investment vehicles reported $33.93 billion in new capital raised across 83 filings dated September 25, 2026, according to AngelLinx Intelligence's daily read of investor activity. Fewer vehicles than several recent sessions, but a larger total, driven overwhelmingly by one manager's three-entity real estate filing, a shape that looks structurally different from the multi-signer hedge fund story that dominated the prior session.
The Day's Numbers
Hedge funds accounted for $16.32 billion, 48.11% of the day, across 36 vehicles. Other Investment Funds followed closely at $15.91 billion, 46.90%, across just 10 vehicles, the smallest vehicle count of any category yet the second-largest dollar share, a sign that a handful of very large filings sit inside that category today. Private equity raised $1.68 billion, 4.94%, across 24 vehicles, and venture capital raised $14.8 million, a bare 0.044% of the day's total, across 13 vehicles, a gap examined fully in Article 4.
One Manager, Almost Half the Day
Blackstone Property Associates L.L.C. filed three separate real estate vehicles on September 25: Blackstone Property Partners L.P. at $9.05 billion, Blackstone Property Partners F.1 L.P. at $3.59 billion, and Blackstone Property Partners F.2 L.P. at $2.55 billion, together $15.19 billion, 44.77% of the entire day's total. Unlike September 24's ExodusPoint filing, where three related entities carried three different signers, all three Blackstone vehicles list the same promoter entity. Article 2 walks through what that consistency signals and how to read a genuine multi-strategy split when every entity shares one signer.
A Second Large Filer With a Different Signature Pattern
Anomaly Capital was the day's second-largest filer, raising $5.19 billion, 15.29% of the day, but split across two entities with two different individual signers: Caroline O'Mahony signed the offshore Anomaly Capital International, Ltd. at $3.96 billion, while Benjamin Jacobs signed the onshore Anomaly Capital, LP at $1.23 billion. That pairing, one offshore vehicle and one onshore vehicle, each with its own named signatory, is a variant AngelLinx Intelligence has documented before and is a useful point of contrast against both Blackstone's single-signer filing and Starboard Value's four-entity structure, covered in full in Article 3.
Smaller Multi-Entity Filings Worth Noting
Haidar Jupiter Fund LLC and its offshore sibling, Haidar Jupiter International Ltd., both signed by Said N. Haidar, raised $1.21 billion and $942.28 million respectively, $2.15 billion combined and 6.34% of the day, a familiar single-signer, differently-sized-entities pattern.
Also worth flagging within the smallest corner of today's data: six separate single-company investment vehicles, each a series of the same Equitybee cFund Master LLC platform and each signed by Dennis Henderson as Director, together raised just over $6 million. Every one of the six carries a distinct deal identifier rather than a shared fund name, consistent with a deal-by-deal special purpose vehicle platform administering one investor pool per underlying company rather than one large fund. It is a small-dollar illustration of the same signature-plus-entity-structure logic that matters at the billion-dollar end of today's data: one administrator, many genuinely separate vehicles.
Zero-Dollar Filings and Venture Capital
Zero-dollar filings held at 9.64% of the day's 83 vehicles, eight filings with no single administrator or wrapper platform behind more than one of them, each from an unrelated signatory. Venture capital's relationship to the rest of the day is worth flagging ahead of the full treatment in Article 4: at 13 vehicles, it was the third most active fund type by count, 15.66% of all filings, yet its $14.8 million contributed just 0.044% of the day's dollars, the widest gap between deal-count share and dollar share AngelLinx Intelligence has recorded so far this month.
On the India side, the SEBI Alternative Investment Fund register showed 2,030 registered AIFs, unchanged from the prior snapshot, and the SEBI Foreign Venture Capital Investor register also held flat at 308. AngelLinx Intelligence treats a flat reading across both registers on the same day as more likely a same-day reporting lag than a genuine pause in new fund activity, and will confirm against the next snapshot before drawing any conclusion from it.
What to Watch
Founders and investors comparing today's $33.93 billion against recent sessions should treat it, like September 24's ExodusPoint-driven total, as shaped heavily by one manager's paperwork timing. Excluding Blackstone's $15.19 billion entirely, the remaining 80 vehicles filed $18.74 billion, still a substantial session but a much more ordinary one, underscoring how much a single large real estate or credit platform can move a single day's headline number regardless of whether venture and growth-stage activity moved at all. Those tracking capital available to earlier-stage companies should keep watching the venture and SPV layers covered in Articles 3 and 4, where the real founder-relevant signal in today's data actually sits.
